Cedar is a soft wood and is easy to work. This allowed coopers to create a cedar bucket quickly, even though the bucket wouldn’t last as long under daily use as other types of wood. The beautiful grain in the cedar makes these buckets especially appealing.

I make cedar buckets using Western Red Cedar and Aromatic Cedar.
